How We Got Here

Hi, I’m Emma — the founder of Artisan Aroma.

I’m originally from Liverpool and started Artisan Aroma back in 2023 from my mum and dad’s kitchen. What began as a way to help fund my university studies quickly turned into something much more — a small business built on passion, creativity, and a love for beautiful scents.

I moved to London to study Politics and International Relations at university, and between lectures and essays, I found myself pouring candles late into the night and spending my weekends at local markets. I’ve always had a deep interest in home fragrance, and creating unique, whipped candles by hand gave me the perfect outlet to combine creativity with purpose.

Every Artisan Aroma candle is made with care, using thoughtfully chosen ingredients and a whole lot of love. I wanted to bring something a little different to the candle world — soft, textured, whipped candles that look as good as they smell.

From kitchen-table beginnings to weekly market stalls, it’s been an amazing journey so far — and it’s only just getting started. Thanks for being part of it.
